A Brief History of Spicknall's Motor Service In 1939, Joseph R. Spicknall started a repair shop on the corner of Hwy 63 and Hwy 34. Then in 1946, his building caught fire and burned to the ground. Joe moved the business next door and became a Pontiac dealer in 1947. Ten years later, he added GMC to his vehicle lineup.
